[Top 9]: NS-7 PDW (All factions)

Have you ever wanted to possess a gun that reloads animation that looks like a VHS cassette being inserted into a magazine before it starts shooting bullets? Then let me ask you: do you feel well lately? Anyway! If this by any chance was your dream, SMG NS-7 PDW is your choice.
It has a low rate of fire compared to other SMGs, but! Its main advantage is low recoil, accuracy, and of course, the lowest damage degrade over distance, which makes it an actual competitor to some carbines.
Thus being said, this SMG is best suitable for mid-range flights. It also has an Advanced Laser Sight attachment to it, giving it an extra hip-fire accuracy! It also can be used by any class except for MAX, making it a good choice for a more active infiltrator.
[Top 10]: NS-R3 Swarm (All factions)
There is a lot of speculation on which is better. “Swarm”, or “Annihilator”? There is no single, truthful answer, as both of them are fearsome, especially amongst the ESF (Empire-Specific Fighter) pilots! The Swarm, however, is better suited for dealing with nasty mosquitoes or reavers that are flying around like insects in a heaty desert. Swarm provides you 3 fast-flying projectile shots upon the quickest lock on the target, making it hard if not impossible to evade at the very least one of them, which still will do a good portion of the damage.
With this piece of a rocket launcher, no pilot will bother you anymore. Its main drawbacks — cost at the start of the game, reduced damage per rocket, and the necessity to lock on targets, meaning you cannot fire it at will.
Lightning Lumifiber Trim
This kit could be designed to work with all Lightning-class vehicles. It could also be designed to match a specific empire.
Details of the model asset:
- One mesh file no greater than 1500 triangles.
- The texture map is provided for you and is named Vehicle_Common_Buggy_Attachment_LitTrim001_PS.
Download the example file to learn more from the actual files. The example file also contains a sample buggy so you have the context of the full vehicle as well as the example lumifiber trim.

Vehicle_Attachment_WingLights_Gradient001.TGA
You will supply your work in grayscale and final colors will be applied in a later stage of production by DGC. You are invited to express your color ideas in the comments section of the submission form.
Uses[]
Construction
- Main article: Construction System
Cortium is primarily used to build constructables, such as the Rampart Wall, alongside powering modules like the Repair Module. To use cortium on a building, you must deploy the ANT and access the terminal on the rear, or deposit cortium into an already-built Cortium Silo and access the terminal on the building instead.
When a Silo is in range of a structure or module that demands power, it will automatically begin consuming cortium to power the module.
ANT Abilities
There are three abilities available to the ANT that allow the driver to consume stored Cortium for various buffs. These abilities consume a fixed amount of cortium per second, which is based on the ability and the abilities’ level, and can be toggled at will.
- Transport Cloak — Allows the driver to cloak the ANT, providing limited invisibility and clearing plus preventing spots.
- C-Barrier — Allows the driver to form a Barrier around the ANT, reducing damage taken by the vehicle by 20% on all directions bar under the transport.
- C300 Turbo Engine — Grants the driver access to a turbo afterburner, allowing the ANT to propel itself forward at a far greater speed and with higher acceleration than normal.
Colossus
- Main article: Colossus
The Colossus, similar to the ANT, has in-built Cortium Storage. It serves as the energy meter for the vehicle’s bombardment shield that is deployed when the Colossus uses Deployment: Skylance Battery, and is also used to power the Mass Accelerator Drive, a utility ability available to the tank.
The Colossus does not naturally have any way to build up its cortium stores. It can receive cortium from any friendly ANT, the same way said mining vehicle would deposit it into a silo, or the Colossus can equip the Cortium Recycler logistics slot upgrade, allowing it to slowly replenish its cortium stores automatically over time when undeployed.
[Top 4]: GR-22 (New Conglomerate)
This little fella here can be named as “TR wannabe” because compared to all other NC’s assault rifles that usually hits hard — GR-22 prefers shooting with mosquito stings, but does it quicker than any other NC assault rifle! But, it does sacrifice its accuracy, so it’s best suited for close to mid-range distances, as due to its excessive rate of fire it can kill off any class in close quarters. If you love TR playstyle, but want to spread out liberty instead of order — GR-22 is your choice! Although be mindful, assault rifles can be wielded by Medic and Engineer classes only! Additionally, it’s cheap: 650 certs | 499 DC for weapon unlock.
[Top 1] GD-7F (New Conglomerate)
The infantry decimator amongst the carbines. Unlike Lynx, some women might just love him. Why? Well, because not only he can compete with Lynx in fire rate, but he also hits much harder than his opponent! His damage is comparable to other carbines, but it is a combination of that, slightly quicker reload, and outstanding fire rate for an NC weapon. And yes, you can put any Advanced Laser Sight attachment, which will make this weapon a worthy “wannabe TR” representative of NC, yet keeping NC’s charm in damage.
P.S.
This top is quite subjective. Although there were certain criteria used when evaluating weapon’s effectiveness, such as how many classes can use this particular type of weapon, its TTK (Time to kill), and of course their stats. Of course, if you want a more specific top, you can check our Planetside 2 Best Sniper Rifles top, which we made specifically for infiltrators!
Harasser Attachment — Tire Spikes
This kit could be designed to work with all Harasser-class vehicles. It could also be designed to match a specific empire. Customize a Harasser so it looks even more deadly and intimidating.
Details of the model asset:
- One set of four tires needs to be no greater than 8000 triangles; objects that are too low in triangle count will not be accepted. Ensure that the level of detail matches the existing assets in game.
- The texture map is provided for you and is named Vehicle_Common_SharedTextures_BuggyQuad_Base_Chassis_C. You must use this texture. You can use any part of the texture currently used. Game info
PlanetSide 2 is a free-to-play, massively multiplayer online first person shooter (MMOFPS). Empires and their soldiers battle in an all-out planetary war on a scale never before seen, in stunning, breathtaking detail. PlanetSide 2 battles persist and the war never ends, offering constant challenges of individual skill, team grit, and empire-wide coordination. Take up arms and drop into intense infantry, vehicle, and air combat. Players come together in enormous battles across four massive continents to win control of critical territories, gaining key resources for their empire. With an extensive skill tree and class-based system, players can customize their soldier, weapons, and vehicles to match their playstyle and meet the needs of their squads, outfits, and empires. In the world of PlanetSide 2, every soldier makes a difference.
THREE WARRING EMPIRES
Players will choose to align with one of three empires: the militaristic, authoritarian Terran Republic; the rebellious, freedom-fighting New Conglomerate; or the technocratic, alien-influenced Vanu Sovereignty. Each empire has access to empire-specific weapons, attachments, vehicles, abilities, and more.
MASSIVE WARFARE
Battles take place not between dozens of soldiers, but between hundreds. They fight on foot. They pile into vehicles. They take to the skies in devastating aircraft. Each battleground holds valuable resources and strategic positions, and the empire that can conquer and hold these territories will be rewarded with the resources and the means to achieve victory.
ENORMOUS MAPS
PlanetSide 2 features four incredible and diverse continent maps with dozens of square kilometers of seamless gameplay space, every inch of which is hand-crafted and contestable. Whether in open fields, barren desert, in armed and armored bases, or in the skies, victory will rely on knowing your surroundings.
PERSISTENCE THAT PAYS
In PlanetSide 2 the war isn’t won by a single base capture. The core gameplay of PlanetSide 2 is about holding crucial territories and controlling resources. Working strategically as a team to secure tactical positions has long-lasting effects that can shift the tide of battle.
CLASS-BASED COMBAT
Players can build their soldier to match wants and their allies’ needs. Six distinct classes provide a wealth of squad options and combat tactics. Grow your soldier over time as you master each combat role, weapon, and vehicle, laterally unlocking hundreds of weapons, attachments, gear, skills, vehicles, and more.Heavy Assault: Rush into the battle guns blazing. You are the dedicated foot soldier of Auraxis.Light Assault: Go where the Heavies can’t with your short-burst jetpack. Pick a high spot, throw a grenade, and out maneuver your foes!Combat Medic: Keep your fellow soldiers alive and in fighting shape. You are the beating heart of any squad. Infiltrator: Stay silent. Stay invisible. You are death from the shadows, whether with a knife from behind or a single shot from a sniper’s nest. You are the enemy’s constant fear. Engineer: Deploy crucial equipment. Resupply your allies. Fix the thing, then fix it again. You keep the machines running, the tanks firing, and the war effort moving forward. MAX: Step into your Mechanized Assault Exo-Suit (MAX). Cannons for hands, armor for flesh, and a disposition to match, you are a walking mass of nigh unstoppable death.
OUTFIT TEAMWORK
Join or form your own Outfit, a like-minded group of soldiers who train together day in and day out. Whether a small rapid response team or a massive clan, Outfits are vital to each empire’s strategic organization.
VEHICLES & WEAPONS
Train and equip your solider how you want, with a huge array of weapons and vehicles which can be extensively customized by preference or purpose, using attachments, upgrades, and add-ons earned in the war.
Scope
Customize your weapon with specialty optics. Create something that matches the style of our empire or broadly compatible with common weapons. Please reference the style guide for empire characteristics.

Faction Assignment[]
Operatives have their faction assignment dictated by the status of their contract. If they are freelancing, they are assigned based solely on population. If they have a home faction contract, they will always be placed on their chosen faction.
Faction assignment rules do not apply to the VR Training Facility, and operatives can warp to any faction’s version of the facility.
Freelancing
Freelancing is the default state of an operative’s contract. Freelancing operatives cannot join outfits, and they are never guaranteed to be placed on any particular faction.
Upon warping to any continent, freelancers are placed on the faction which has the lowest population on that continent at that moment. Operatives can warp out and back onto a continent at will, if the population balance has shifted, to change to the new underdog faction, and the operative will never be subject to a faction balance queue as a result—although they are not immune to maximum population queues.
Home Faction
Accessible by speaking to Facilitator Emerson aboard Sanctuary, operatives are able to set a home faction for themselves at the cost of 1,000 , causing the operative to always be assigned to that faction upon warping to a continent, and allowing them to join outfits created by characters of that empire.
Facilitator Emerson can be spoken to at any time to allow the operative to either change their home faction at a cost, or to temporarily freelance for free.
