Minecarts[]
A TNT barrel inside a Minecart.
Minecarts are found in the Black Powder Mine. Interacting with a minecart lets a Gungeoneer ride along minecart tracks. Bullet Kin, Red Shotgun Kin, and Executioners can also ride minecarts.
Additionally, some minecarts can contain explosive barrels or mechanical turrets which fire at the player. These turrets can be destroyed with explosions, after which the minecart is free to be ridden.
If the player dodge rolls while not touching any of the movement keys, then they will not exit the minecart and will only dodge roll. If the player is moving, they will dodge roll out of the minecart; if they touch another cart in the process, they’ll automatically ride it. This technique is used to acquire the Arcane Gunpowder in the Black Powder Mine.
Minecarts that the player is riding in are not affected by friction; a moving minecart will automatically continue to move along the track until the player exits it.
In co-op, two players can occupy the same minecart, but only one player will be able to steer it.
Notes[]
- If the shopkeeper has been angered (ex. shooting in shop, stealing), he will not return after revival.
- Allows the collection of duplicate Master Rounds on a single run, all of which count towards unlocking the Super Hot Watch.
- If Pig was also acquired, it will activate first upon death.
- If Gun Soul was also acquired, it will activate first upon death. If the player is killed a second time before retrieving their soul, Clone will respawn them as normal (without the cosmetic effect), but they will still be limited to one heart container. This can be fixed by using the Save Button and resuming the run, or by finding another Gun Soul in order to die and interact with the soul (in both cases, the returned heart containers will be empty).
- If the run was started through a shortcut, the player will be revived on the floor that they started on.
- Curse does not reset when respawning with Clone.
- As The Robot cannot gain heart containers, it always respawns with 6 armor.
- Clone does not carry over into the past; the player will not be revived if they die in the past.
- If the player perfects the Resourceful Rat fights, he will still not steal from the player after revival.
- Players can fight the Resourceful Rat again after respawning, however, upon entering the Resourceful Rat’s lair, any extra will disappear from the player’s inventory.
- If the player is holding more than one Clone when they die, the extra Clones will also be removed from the player’s inventory when they revive. However, extra Clones can still be obtained after the player dies.
- If the player obtains the before they die, it’s not lost after revival.
- If the player is one hit away from death and takes damage while having Glass Guon Stones, they will not break and will remain with the player when they revive.
- If the player respawns from a Clone, they can get another Clone in a chest afterwards. However, it’s extremely rare and usually happens in Rainbow Mode.
- In co-op, if The Paradox starts with Clone, it can be traded with The Cultist and allows The Paradox to continuously carry clones whenever they die and when clone is activated from The Cultist, allowing excessive clone runs unless the game crashes or the players save and quit the game.
- In co-op, if the player with Clone dies first, the Clone is consumed but the effect doesn’t trigger.
Tables[]
Tables can be flipped over to block bullets. During the flipping animation, bullets near the table will be cleared, similar to or explosions. After flipping a table, the player will become invincible and absorb bullets for a few frames. Afterwards, the table can be pushed around, and will be destroyed after taking enough damage. Tables also absorb bullets when destroyed, in the same manner as when they are flipped. Bullet Kin and several of their subspecies will also flip tables and use them as cover themselves.
The player can also dodge roll over tables. Tables can be dodge rolled over three times before breaking. Stone tables can only be rolled over twice. If multiple tables are adjacent, the player will slide over all of them. If the dodge roll button is pressed while the player is on the table, it will break immediately.
Tables can be slowly pushed around. One table can push another, which significantly slows the Gungeoneer.
Tables are unaffected by fire.

Notes[]
- — If the player has Singularity, it spawns a hell portal that sucks enemies in and deals high damage.
- — If the player has Shotgrub, it fires a wide spread of five bullets, which bounce back and split into waving bullets after hitting a wall, similar to the Shotgrub enemy’s attack.
- — If the player has Abyssal Tentacle, the Abyssal Tentacle will become gray and yellow, dealing more damage, as well as being able to latch onto two enemies.
- — If the player also has High Kaliber, the soul spawned by hitting an enemy with High Kaliber initially moves towards the player instead of away.
- — If the player has Dragunfire, it and its projectiles turn grey, it gains an increased rate of fire, and it gains notable knockback on enemies, but loses the piercing attribute.
- — If the player has Pitchfork, it fires green fireballs, setting enemies permanently aflame.
Super Space Turtle DX — If the player has Super Space Turtle, Super Space Turtle becomes jammed, firing small rockets with higher damage.
- The charming effect only occurs upon entering combat; enemies that spawn in waves will not be charmed.
- Upon completing a room with a charmed enemy, tentacles will appear under the enemy and drag it into the floor.
- The charmed enemy will have a stunned effect animation while being killed by the tentacles.
- The tentacles will sometimes not kill the charmed enemy, and it will wander around in the room, trying to kill enemies adjacent to the room it’s in. This is fixed when the tentacles kill a different charmed enemy.
- Yellow Chamber will not provide any armor to The Robot.
- Yellow Chamber will not charm or kill Red-Caped Bullet Kin.
- Occasionally, if a Spent is charmed and the room is cleared, the Spent will be killed by the tentacles and the doors will open despite the next wave of Spent spawning.
- Projectiles from charmed enemies still do damage to the player.
- Some companions, like the Owl, Baby Good Shelleton and R2G2 will still attack charmed enemies on sight.
- If two Yellow Chambers are somehow obtained it can charm a second enemy.
- Money dropped by charmed enemies killed by the player will be collected as if they weren’t charmed.
Notes[]
- Prior to the Supply Drop Update, the Dice Shrine’s Limited effect decreased maximum ammo by 50% instead of 30%.
- Prior to , the Dice Shrine’s Unsteady effect decreased reload time instead of increasing it.
- The Dice shrine can apply two opposite effects at the same time, such as Renewed and Pained, Paid and Robbed, Cleansed and Cursed, or Blanked and De-Blanked.
- The Dice Shrine’s rare effect will not reduce The Robot’s armor when triggered.
- The Blood shrine’s blessing can carry over to a character’s past.
- Using the Y.V. Shrine 27 times, for a total cost of 3780 , gives every shot its bonus. However, obtaining this much is difficult. It requires lots of curse, money items like Coin Crown, and as much Gold Junk as possible. Alternately, the infinite money exploit with Blobulin Rancher and Don’t Blink in Challenge Mode can be used to obtain this much money. Another possibility is through the use of Lil’ Bomber in conjunction with its King Bomber synergy.
- The Y.V Shrine’s bonus does affect shots fired from companions, however they will be shot in a straight line going to the right, instead of being aimed at enemies.
- The Peace Shrine does not accept weapons with infinite ammo like Casey.
- The Peace Shrine will accept a gun from The Robot, but will not return any benefits.
- During a Rainbow Run, The Companion Shrine will not give you a companion, but still will take one of your heart containers.
Mirrors[]
The Monster in the mirror.
Mirrors will show an unlocked chest in their reflection, which can be opened if the player presses the interact button while their reflection is next to the chest. This will shatter the mirror and increase the player’s curse by 3.5. The mirror will also shatter if the player shoots it, which will increase the player’s curse by the same amount and will make the location of the hidden chest much more difficult to find.
Notes
- It is possible for chests in mirrors to be Mimics.
- It is possible for chests in mirrors to be but they do not have the usual glitch animation.
- In Rainbow Mode, Bowler will sit on where you have to be to open the chest in the mirror, although the chest will still be only visible in the mirror, making Bowler flying mid-air.
- If a mirror chest appears, it may prevent the two treasure rooms from having one item and one gun. If the mirror chest has an item, both treasure rooms may have guns, and if the mirror chest has a gun, both treasure rooms may have items.
- When playing as The Paradox or doing a run with the paradox effect active, the mirror will not reflect the effect on the player
- You can freeze the mirror, obscuring the chest’s reflection. The chest can still be opened as usual, and the player will still be cursed upon opening.
- Mirror chests cannot be shot. Bullets do not appear in the reflection and will not damage the chest.
Trivia
- A monster’s eye briefly appears after shattering the mirror, which is purely aesthetic and serves no purpose. This was added in the Supply Drop Update.
- The mirror may be a reference to the Mirror of Erised in the book ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’, where an unlocked chest may well be the player’s greatest desire.
- The curse effect upon breaking the mirror is a reference to the folk belief that breaking a mirror causes seven years of bad luck (3.5 curse is 7 x 0.5).
Trivia[]
- Occasionally, when viewing the minimap, the chambers of the Yellow Chamber may blink. The chamber may also fall away to reveal a large eye.
- This item is reference to Robert W. Chambers’s book of short stories titled The King in Yellow.
- The fact that this item can also be unlocked by entering the eyeball room possibly correlates to the , which both features a glaring eye and shares a similar color palette to the tentacles.
- On occasion, the tentacles that appear to kill the charmed enemy will appear a slight distance away from said enemy rather than directly below them, but the tentacles will still kill the enemy.
- When the charmed enemy is in a minecart by the time the room is cleared, the charmed enemy will stay in the minecart indefinitely instead of dying like normal. While in the minecart, it won’t shoot, and will die once ejected from the minecart.
- Charmed Bullet Sharks and Dets will not die after the room is cleared, as they move away from the tentacles. They will drop casings if killed by the player.
- Charmed Lead Maidens close when the room is cleared, becoming invulnerable. With nothing to aggro on, they remain closed and cannot be killed.
Как открыть персонажей в Enter the Gungeon
Enter the Gungeon.
Bugs[]
- If the player dies immediately after killing the first form of the Lich, the hand will still grab the player and take them underground. However, this does not take the player to the second form of the Lich. Instead, it softlocks the game.
- If the player dies at the same time as the second form of the Lich, the fade-to-white screen transition will play after respawning and softlock the game.
- If the player dies to fire, they will still be on fire when they respawn.
- If in co-op and the player with Clone dies first, Clone will be lost and cannot be picked up by the other player
- If the player kills a boss right after dying, when they respawn, they will be unable to do anything except open and use the pause menu.
- If the player pauses the game at the exact moment they die, the game will freeze on the black screen.
- If the player is knocked into a pit after dying with Clone, they will take damage upon respawning and also be unable to do anything except open and use the pause menu on a black screen.
- If the player dies while holding an empty weapon, there is a chance that the weapon will no longer be in their possession upon revival.
Barrels[]
Barrels contain elemental goop. Interacting with a barrel will roll it and leave a trail of goop. Bullets cause barrels to explode, splashing the area with long-lasting goop.
Sprite | Function |
---|---|
Explosive barrels explode when shot. Enemies and Gungeoneers alike are damaged by exploding barrels. Dodge rolling through an explosive barrel destroys it without causing an explosion. | |
Exactly the same as Explosive Barrels. Extremely rare. | |
Water barrels leave water when rolled or shot. The water overrides other liquids and can be electrified to deal damage to enemies. | |
Oil barrels trail oil when rolled or shot. Explosions and fire weapons ignite the oil, dealing significant damage to walking enemies. | |
Toxic barrels spread poison when rolled or shot. Enemies that step on the goop are continuously hurt for a few seconds. |
Barrels can be rolled into corridors and other rooms. Barrels do not roll into pits, but stop right at the edge of the pit, making it difficult to roll them anywhere else. Enemies, particularly Bullet Kin, tend to be distracted by rolling barrels and shoot them.
Water barrels in the Keep of the Lead Lord roll slower than other barrels, so that maneuvering them into the Fireplace is practical.

Clutter[]
Clutter is a wide variety of minor objects found throughout the Gungeon, ranging from flowers to crates to skeletons. A few kinds of clutter can be found atop tables. Some clutter objects will stop a single bullet before being destroyed, while others do not obstruct gunfire. All clutter breaks instantly on contact with a Gundead creature or Gungeoneer. Clutter has a very tiny chance to spawn a Gun Fairy when broken. If the Pot Shots challenge is active, clutter objects have a chance to fire bullets at the player as they break.
Alone among clutter objects, stalagmites in the Black Powder Mine absorb multiple bullets before breaking, and block the movement of Gundead.
