Trivia
- This is the longest map in the game.
- This map was added shortly after the game was released.
- Borderlands is one of the few maps where the wall the road ends is not opposite to the wall the entrance is on.
- This map is the map with the most cliff space due to how large the multiple sources of cliffs there are.
- This map can occasionally make Void trip over the wall, however, this doesn’t affect Void’s speed.
- There is a glitch that occurs during versus which replaces the revamped Borderlands to the old Borderlands.
- There is a glitch where the zombies go slightly off track on versus on this map, possibly because the code of the zombies uses the new Borderlands map while the map itself is the old version.
- The old version was a bit stronger due to more cliff space for railgunners, and other cliff towers.
- Near the end of the map (revamped) there is a double-sided billboard, with on side containing a horror story about a «monster» that terrorized a group, this could possibly (not confirmed) be deeper lore to the game.
- There is a spot on this map where the ground is slightly elevated, allowing ground towers to be placed closer to each other than the normal placement footprint would allow.
Unique features of Battle Towers Mod
There are some types of materials to build battle towers such as:
- Sandstone
- Cobblestone
- Netherrack
- Ice
- Smooth Stone
- Mossy Cobblestone
- End Stone
Some of the battle towers are in the reverse position, they are built exactly the same but have no windows, so no entrance. The tower is plugged into the ground and the starting point is the top of the tower, about 20-30 blocks from the ground. Below, monsters will be spawned and fight with you there.
There are also other types of towers like Netherrack, Ice for you to explore, destroy monsters, and collect wealth in them.
After fighting the Golem, you will win the worthy reward / Ph.vignette.wikia.nocookie.net

Trivia:

After the Golem is slain the tower is destroyed.
Tactics
- Due to the 25 tower limit in 1v1, it is unadvised to use many Scouts as they have rather low DPS compared to other towers like Soldier. In addition, they struggle with high health zombies such as Boss1 and Slows and other tough zombies.
- If the opponent is rushing with many zombies at earlier waves, getting multiple Scouts to defend the rush can be effective. Due to the low price, they can be effective against small groups of Normals and Speedies but are not effective against Slows.
- It is not advised to use the Scout should not be used against Hiddens
If absolutely necessary, a level 3 Aviator can be used to give more Scouts hidden detection for far less money.
because it only gains hidden detection at level 5.
- Because of it’s low damage and mediocre firerate, it is recommended to use other towers than using the Scout.

Trivia
Battletower Golems fighting
If 2 Battle Tower Golems meet, they fight each other, but this may be bugged as one seemed to be regenerating as the other was dying during their combat.
A Battle tower may spawn at where your house was, deleting all your loot and hard work if you return from a dimension, this is caused by chunks error because of teleporting from one to other dimension. This almost always happens if the chunk you are returning into has a block from Secret Rooms.
On Smooth Stone Battle tower, Ores do generate, replacing some part of the walls with vein of ores, usually Redstone or Coal Ores.
On some rare cases, the tower is destroyed completely upon the Battletower Golem’s death.
Battle Tower spawned in The End
Battle Towers can spawn in The End, and Battletower Golem can be angered by Ender Dragon if he strikes him.
The Tower Golem May Destroy the top chest when he gets mad, causing the loot to burn up in the flames or, (very rarely) may fall through a hole for you to collect.

Tips
- Aviators placed near the edges of the cliff the farthest from the road can both help defend in earlier waves as well as help Railgunners and other nearby towers detect Hidden Guardians when upgraded to level 3 (Spy Plane).
- High-level Railgunners and Phasers can deal a lot of damage quickly and can dispatch Ice Marauders, Titans and Golems.
- It is recommended to spam level 4 Railgunners before maxing them due to the high cost.
- Mortars and Tubers help clear out Ice and Shards for Railgunners, Phasers, and other high-damage towers to deal damage to more threatening zombies.
- Having a lot of Commandos at level 1 or level 2 is essential in earlier waves to deal sufficient damage to help mow down the zombies.
- Phasers are effective at dealing with Golems in mid-game and Titans and Frosty. Make sure to be aware that the phasers would get stunned or frozen at Wave 9 or 10.
- Commander boosts range and firerate of towers; using the Call to Arms ability can be a game changer if managed correctly.
- Flamethrowers and Hallowboomers slows down zombies, giving much more time for towers to deal with the zombies.
- Cooperation and skill is essential to have a better chance of dealing with the zombies.
- Do not use farms as there are not enough waves for it to be effective.
- Sleeters and Cryo-Gunners will not affect many ice-themed Zombies but rather heal them instead. Whenever you heal a zombie, your money will go down rather than up. Ex: Heal 1hp, lose $1.
Trivia
- The Zed’s guns and cannons cannot be affected by level 3 Aviators or level 4 Golden Scouts Hidden Support and will still be unable to target camouflaged enemies regardless.
- On the update of 18 May 2018, the Zed’s placement cap was changed to 4, however, the error message when placing a 5th Zed would still read ‘Only 5 Zeds/player (sorry!)’. This was fixed in a future update.
- The Commander’s range buff applies to both the Mech and the manufacturing base.
- In survival, level 4 Zed is called Mech and level 5 Zed used to be called Mayhem Machine. However, in versus, level 4 Zed is called Mecha and level 5 Zed used to be called Void Walker, with different images. Now, level 4 Zed is called Mech and level 5 Zed is called Zombie Extermination Device.
- Coincidentally, the short-form of the name of the level 5 Zed upgrade, Zombie Extermination Device (ZED), has the exact same letters in the same order as the tower name, Zed.
- Before the August Update, Max Zed was called M10 and was black rather than the current M11 and had a black-blue laser-like aesthetic compared with the current gray-blue one.
- Out of any tower, the Zed has received by far the most changes throughout its existence.
- The old level 5 upgrade icon looked similar to Godzilla.
- The Zed has the highest placement cost in game.
- The Zed has the second highest total cost in game, the highest being the Golden Commando.
- The Zed is the first Tower Battles tower to have an official toy version by Roblox. The character with the toy or driver of the vehicle is named: «Zombie Extermination Professional». However, this name is not mentioned in the game itself. The accessories of the character are not part of the character in-game and do not resemble any other weapons found in Tower Battles, but can be found similar to the Phaser’s gun and icon of its Extra Juice upgrade.
Trivia
- The maximum level is 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 (nine quintillion two hundred twenty-three quadrillion three hundred seventy-two trillion thirty-six billion eight hundred fifty-four million seven hundred seventy-five thousand eight hundred seven). This is because this number is the 64-bit integer limit.
- The amount of experience required to level up increases after level gaps.
- Once complete with the 3001 level gap, the player will always require 10,000 experience to level up for each level after that.
- The Golden Scout and Golden Commando used to be opposite level rewards; Golden Commando used to be unlocked upon reaching Level 600, and Golden Scout on Level 1,502 (1,501 due to a bug). The switch was put into effect upon the release of TBBF 1.5.
- After leveling up past 100,000 levels, the «Level up!» pop up will no longer display what level you leveled up to and simply display «Level up!»

Trivia
- The Void is currently the third-largest zombie in the game, the first being Grim, second being Frosty and King Jack, and the fourth being SantaBot.
- The Void was briefly smaller than SantaBot from 12/20/2017 to 3/22/2018. However, in the 3/22/18 update, Void was increased in size to be slightly bigger than SantaBot.
- The Void is taller than a Robloxian if one were to stand directly beside it (excluding the original Void). However, if you have the character scale gamepass, setting the size to «Large» will make you the size of (the current) Void.
- The Void is one of the eight enemies to have a unique death animation, the others being Grim, Jack, SantaBot, King Jack, Frosty, Titan and Expired Jack.
- During the Void revamp, the old animation and sounds weren’t replaced despite Void’s new looks.
- It can be inferred from the quote «I guess… I’ll just have to kill you MYSELF.» that Void is narrating the game and sending zombies at the players.
- The Void is the slowest zombie in a regular game with a speed of «Extremely Slow». This trait is also shared with the Guardian.
- The Void is one of the few zombies that can summon other zombies, the others being the Necromancer, Mystery, Mystery2, Necromancer Boss, Reaper and Grim.
- The Void’s screech comes from Call Of Duty Zombies.
- The Void’s death sound is a lower-pitched yell from the movie Man of Steel, where Superman yelled after he killed Zod.
- The first void had a Boss3 on it’s back.
- In 2017, the dialog for the Void had been «Well then, I guess I’ll just have to kill you MYSELF!! Time to meet your DEATH!!!».

Trivia
- The Sleeter is named after sleet, a type of precipitation.
- The Sleeter appeared on the title screen of the game during the Winter Event.
- The Sleeter is the second tower to ignore certain types of zombies and the first tower, along with the Cryo-Gunner, that heals certain enemies.
- This tower is the 6th to have a unique A.I. behind Flamethrower Phaser, Aviator, Soldier and Hallowboomer.
- The Sleeter appears in place of the «Railgun Sign» in the lobby section, underneath the Sleeter are the words: «NEW SLEETER TOWER! Freeze them!» during the Winter Event.
- Exploiters managed to gain access to the files of the game’s map, and this tower appears to have replaced an older concept, the «Icethrower». Little information is known about the Icethrower. It appears to be a Flamethrower with a gray outfit. It emits a faint blue glow.
- The Sleeter is the fourth event tower in the game.
- The level 1-4 gun that the Sleeter wields is the ROBLOX gear «Freeze Ray».
- Sleeter submitted name «Ice Soldier» by mungdawn.
- There is a bug where the sleeter fires faster than usual and doesn’t have a cooldown for burst, fires almost as commando’s firerate, there is no manual way to this buy as it happens naturally, however it appears to be more frequent when there’s a lot of zombies in range.

Trivia
- 4v4 was removed on 22, March 2018 and was then re-added on 10, August 2019.
- It used to take 15 wins to unlock 4v4
- 4v4 was removed due to teleport issues, often not being able to teleport all eight players.
- Versus is one of two permanent game modes, the other one being Survival.
- It is possible to server glitch into a versus battle. However, the income for the team that has extra players will receive less income.
- Players sometimes fail to teleport to the match or teleport to another match.
- Triumphs in versus mode were previously known as ties and awarded each player 50 Credits.
- When a player leaves the match, the cash bonus per wave increases to how many players there are currently.
- The penalty for leaving a versus match was previously a loss of 25 credits But no loss Gained.

Tactics
-
Commander and DJ
Commander can also give a massive range buff.
affect the vehicle that the Zed Tower spawns, giving it a firerate boost that can allow Zed to quickly mow down zombies.
- With a good farming strategy, you can use the Zed to completely take over mid game defense.
- The DJ can reduce the upgrade costs of the Zed by 20%, potentially saving thousands of dollars.
- As Void can do a ground stomp and deal 5000 damage to spawned vehicles that come within range of the stomp, it is not recommended to use Zed when dealing with it, though the Zed can easily be micro-managed (Selling a Zed and replacing it to spawn a new Zed when the old Zed unit has been destroyed.)
- However, since the 7/22/2020 update, with the cost increase and the fact that Level 4 Zed no longer spawns a new zed, micro-managing is not as efficient or effective.
- This works more effectively if Void is near the exit as Zeds will crash into the Void faster.
- Remember to use support towers alongside the Zed. Using only Zeds for mid-game defense is difficult. Instead get a high damage splash tower such as a max level Aviator or multiple max level Tubers.
- As upgrading the Zed to level 5 will send out another Zed instantly, it can be exploited to clump up multiple Zeds to make them spawn together, which will allow for each Zed to protect each other by shooting down enemies at once, effectively lengthening the overall time that all the Zeds stay alive, doing more damage.
- It is difficult to form a crunch point with Zed, meaning you have to have other mid-game towers to support this tower mid and late game.
- A good farming tactic is needed if you are bringing zed as it is very expensive.
- Zed cannot detect camouflaged enemies at any level, so any low-level Zeds may be easily defeated by Hidden Bosses. It is recommended that other high-level towers be used to handle Hidden Bosses more effectively such as Aviators, Commandos, or even Plasma Troopers.
- If you can manage clump up multiple zeds, they can mow down most late game zombies very easily.
- When maxing a zed, try to time it so that it spawns with another zed.
