XRay texture pack frequently asked questions and problems
Here we answer questions that we receive regularly. Read the answers carefully.
For which Minecraft Editions is the XRay texture pack?
XRay is available for Java, Bedrock, Education and Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE). Currently there is no information if it will be released for PS4/PS5, Nintendo Switch and other systems in the future.
Is XRay for Minecraft free or do I have to pay for it?
Of course, everything is free of charge.
How can I turn the pack on and off ingame?
For this you have to go to the options and then to resource packs. There you can enable or disable it.
Can I use it with TLauncher?
Yes, you can. The installation is exactly the same as for the official Java Edition. However, you should make sure that the launcher version and the pack version match.
Will it affect my FPS?
No, because the ZIP archive and .mcpack only require little computing power. In addition, the included textures only have a resolution of 16×16. Just like in the default pack. You might even get a small FPS boost, because your graphics card has to render much less.
Solutions to problems
Although the installation and activation is very simple, there are occasional problems. That is why we have listed here the most common problems with XRay texture pack.
What can I do if all blocks are dark and I can’t see anything?
There is a quick solution for this problem, because you just have to turn off the smooth lighting. For the Java Edition and MCPE this should be enough, but for the Windows 10 Edition you should also use a night vision potion. Of course you can use this potion in the other editions as well. Optionally you can also install the mod Optifine.
Why do I get an error message when I try to install XRay in Minecraft?
Strictly speaking, it is an incompatibility message. It tells you that the pack is not compatible with your version of the game. However, this message is superfluous, because there will be no problem if you activate XRay anyway. Therefore, we advise you to simply ignore the error message.
Why don’t I see any dungeons in the XRay texture pack?
You are probably confusing it with the XRay mod, which has these and many more features. As the title says, this is just a texture pack. As a result, only the blocks can be made transparent and no dungeons are highlighted.

Download and install Xray Netherite 1.16 Resource Pack
The Resource Pack is very easy to install like any other. If you are still not sure, we have a short installation guide for you, which works for Minecraft version 1.16 and others like version 1.15.2. All download links are compiled below. Xray Resource Pack works for every Snapshot and official releases of Version 1.16. Netherite Hack is just one of the many other hacks for Minecraft 1.16. First, download the Netherite Xray 1.16 Resource Pack, then start Minecraft and go to Options. Navigate from “Resource Packs” to “Open Resource Pack folder” and a folder will open where you paste the downloaded Resource Pack. After that, it will appear in Minecraft and is ready to use! Xray Ultimate is a perfect texture pack
This is the perfect example of the night vision feature of this pack. You can clearly see the vegetation in yellow color and the wooden blocks in the border of the vegetation. Apart from that, the green checks in the ground indicate solid area and you can easily walk on the surface without any problem. There is no risk of any hidden danger when you have such clear vision in the dark. The green vegetation in the middle looks like some plants and you can also notice the various blocks in the far end of this picture. You can also notice a person in purple color standing in the garden and this will help you identify the location and spot any harmful elements even during the night time.
The night view of the building in special vision gives you the complete information about the surrounding area. You can see the red colored candies in the middle and there are blue colored flowers next to it. The colors may appear differently during the daytime and this change is due to the night vision effect used in the pack. The house also has light in the entrance area and you can see a row of glass windows that will give you a glimpse of the house. You can also notice some trees in the main entrance and there is a huge box that is having a steel frame in the middle. You can also notice a mob in yellow color on the left side of the building and the night vision will alert you about such things even before you enter the space.

Netherite Xray 1.16 spares you the search
The Netherite Xray 1.16 Resource Pack helps you find Netherite much faster. If you use the Resource Pack, all Netherrack blocks in the Nether will be hidden, which means you will only see ores like Netherite. So you can easily get to the ores and mine them. It is best to use Optifine, because the Resource Pack has additional Optifine features that make the search for the ores even easier. Also, be sure that you set all options related to lighting effects as high as possible in the graphics options if you are not using Optifine. The Minecraft Xray 1.16 Pack is exactly like a real Minecraft Xray 1.16 Hack Client and very easy to install.
XRay Texture Pack Download and Install Guide
The advantage is that it’s not a mod, so you don’t need additional modloaders like Forge or Fabric. As a result, the XRay texture pack installation does not take very long. It can be done in just a few steps. These guide is for the PC and took two minutes in our test.
- The first thing you need to do is choose a game version. You have a free choice, because every version is supported. By the way, you can find the XRay texture pack download links below if you have problems finding them on this page.
- Click the download button after you have made your choice. You will then be redirected to Curseforge, which will start the download immediately.
- Now launch Minecraft and select a version that is compatible with XRay.
- Now click on the green highlighted “play” and wait a few seconds until everything is loaded.
- Click on “Options” in the Minecraft menu and on the next page on “resource packs”.
- At the bottom left you will find a button with which you can open your resource packs folder. Click on it and the folder will open.
- Finally, select the downloaded file and move it to this directory. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the pack.
If you want to install the XRay texture pack for Bedrock or MCPE, then the installation differs slightly from this guide. Nonetheless, the first step is the same, because first you have to download the file. Unfortunately, it would go beyond the scope to list a tutorial for every single device here. Xray Ultimate Resource Pack 1.17.1/1.16.5 For Minecraft:
- Start downloading Resource Pack for Minecraft from the link(s) below.
- Click on Start Menu.
- Write %appdata% on the text box and press Enter.
- From the newly opened window, locate the .minecraft folder and open it.
- Double-Click on the resource pack folder.
- Put resource pack.zip file into that folder.

Du kannst es einfach kostenlos von dieser Seite laden und es dann auf der Festplatte Deines PCs oder Laptops installieren. Mit wahrem Röntgenblick wirst Du dann die Begrenzungen von einzelnen Blöcken sowie auch die Oberflächen der einzelnen Materialien im Spielgeschehen deutlich genug voneinander unterscheiden können, was Dir letztendlich auch die Orientierung ganz enorm erleichtern kann.
Du solltest jedoch das Texture Pack Xray Ultimate unbedingt gemeinsam mit OptiFine auf Deinem PC oder Laptop verwenden, um dadurch letztendlich beste grafische und optische Ergebnisse erzielen zu können.
Find Netherite immediately with Xray 1.16
The Netherite blocks are more precisely called Ancient Debris and are rarer than diamond. They are only found in the nether and are the only source for producing netherite stuff. Netherite is so stable that the block cannot be destroyed by explosions or fire. Netherite’s ore veins are very low, producing up to three blocks. Once you’ve found Ancient Debris, you can only destroy the block with a diamond pickaxe. You can then melt the block in a furnace to get Neherite scraps. It works similarly to the Xray Ultimate Resource Pack, but it specializes more in the new ore Netherite in the all-new 1.16 Nether Update.
The Netherite Scraps can be combined with Gold Ingots to get Netherite Ingots in the crafting table. You can combine the Netherite Ingots with diamond tools, weapons and armor. This will give you much stronger equipment, the strongest in the entire game. Netherite armor is the strongest armor in Minecraft and has more durability than tools made of diamond. With Minecraft 1.16 Xray, you can finally save yourself the tedious search for the valuable netherite. It has never been so easy. Netherite Xray also works perfectly in version 1.16.1 and 1.16.2. It is compatible with all versions of the Nether update.

Эти текстуры делают прозрачными все блоки, что даёт любому игроку преимущество в нахождении полезных ресурсов, а в частности алмазов. Это такого рода помощник в виде текстур, который поможет вам сэкономить время на поиск ресурсов в Minecraft.
На данный момент администраторы серверов пытаются посматривать за этим и пресекать тех, кто пользуется данным ресурспаком в своих корысных целях. Piligrims
Piligrims — одна из первых стратегий, предполагающая огромную массовость сражений подобно «Казакам». В основе лежит идея объединения игроков и их прогресса на одном сервере, возникшая по успешному опыту запуска «Казаков» с массовым прогрессом на одной глобальной карте (внутри GSC). Огромные масштабы игрового мира предполагалось обслуживать на собственных серверах.Игра совмещала несколько жанров: FPS, Tactics и RTS. Среднее время прохождения игры 30 часов.
Недалёкое будущее — события войн между корпорациями, где за каждой командой, игроком и его спецподразделением закрепляется база-предприятие по добыче ресурса. На глобальной карте предусмотрены перелёты в атмосфере и укрепление на новой ресурсной точке. Миссии исследования территории вокруг базы позволяли находить редкие артефакты. На уровне развития перелётов на другие планеты миссии исследования территории вокруг базы могли дать значительное технологическое преимущество: инопланетное оружие, ресурсы для научных открытий. Но основе игры должны были быть сетевые бои — схватки и нападения на чужие заводы и защита своих базы, точек добычи и корабля транспортировки. По мере развития игрок должен был выбирать либо численные, либо качественное улучшения. Спецподразделения укрепляются всё более мощным оружием вплоть до футуризированного, а локации переходят на колонизированные планеты освоенной системы. Основными особенностями игры было введение техники (в частности летающей и наземной), групповое управление бронетехникой. Развитие героя можно было уводить либо по горизонтали — рост мастерства, либо по вертикали — рост по чину. Рост по чину позволял переходить к управлению группой, дальше большими группами, даже массовыми скоплениями, полками и техникой. На общем сервере опыт и накопления артефактов игрока не терялись после прохождения миссий, база-корабль могла уводится в разного типа боевые формы (специализации по добыче ресурсов, что побуждало бы игроков формировать между собой фракций).
Для отработки концепции этой игры проводили тесты производительности на X-Ray, массовости мобов, загруженности ландшафта, детализацией объектов. Но её разработку было решено остановить (в последствии отменить), хотя даже после отмены Алексей Мосейчук получил задачу подготовить общее видение игры в скетчах (без живописных и атмосферных зарисовок).
Commandos
Commandos — развитие Piligrims с идеей с техникой, но без тактического и стратегического массива логик и механик. Основной упор был на «пирамиды» коротких сетевых миссий-арен. Бои планировались в 4-х тактических формах, с возможностью выбора специализации, через военные импланты и постепенное улучшение оружия. Среднее время прохождения одного типа игрока — 25 часов.
Вселенная была ближе к жанру киберпанк, между Fallout и StarWars, с такой высокой динамикой боя — короткие сессии сценарного прохождения в пост-апокалиптическом мире с целью поиска артефактов, природных элементов, ресурсов или их частей. События в атмосфере гаснущего мира Земли, всё уничтожено ядерными взрывами. Основная масса населения отправилась на колонизацию других планет, на орбитальных станциях Земли остались Commandos и небольшая группа учёных-наблюдателей. Планета частично обледенела, частично радиоактивна, то есть среда стала агрессивна. События истории разворачиваются вокруг поиска первоэлементов, формирующих агрегат («дух возрождения») жизни на планете — нужно было собрать сосредоточения силы Земли, 8 духов. Дальше игрок отправлялся к центру Земли, чтобы вызвать ядерную резонансную реакцию — пробудить дух Земли. Сюжет имел 3 ветки развития, во-первых с выбором одной из сторон, фракций: боевик-полицейский, выживший-повстанец или инженер; во-вторых, выбор способа выживания, методов возвращения планеты к жизни.
Игра в осуществлении требовала много ресурсов и разработка была отменена.

- Загрузить и установить MCPatcher.
- Скачать текстур-пак X-Ray 1.6.4, 1.7.2, 1.7.10 или 1.8 и переместить в папку %appdata%/.minecraft/resourcepacks.
- Зайти в настройки и выбрать желаемые текстуры. Всё готово!
