What is Witchery?

Witchery is a very large mod that implements forms of witchcraft into the Minecraft world. It even adds its own power system, which, unlike technological mods, is not a conventional power system. This power system comes in multiple flavors; Altar power, Infusion power, and vampire blood. Altar power is used to perform rites, and use machines. Infusion power comes from Altar power, and is used by players who have infused themselves with a superpower. Altar power comes from nature, and objects that are placed on top of an Altar. Infusion power comes directly from the Altar, and transfers it from the machine to the player.

What mods will work with Witchery?

• Mods that add liquid transport systems, such as Thaumcraft 4 and BuildCraft are useful for Witchery. Witchery allows for other mods to automate certain tasks, such as filling the Kettle with water.
• Biome mods also work well with Witchery, as they tend to have compatibility with the biome-related magic within the mod.

What should I have before I begin?

• You should have basic resources from a standard mining expedition down to the lower levels of a cave. The main materials that are needed to start in Witchery, which you will obtain from mining, are Iron and Diamonds.
• The main goal should be obtaining Eggs and Oak Saplings, as they are required to get the first useful item.
• You may also want to grab some of the Witchery plants, such as Mandrakes, which you can obtain by bashing tall grass.
• Coal is only necessary for solid fuel; if you would like to use another fuel, go ahead.

Проследите, чтобы над площадкой не было блоков. Ритуал проводить ночью. Когда всё будет готово, заманиваем курицу поближе к черепу и убиваем её bolin’ом. Если glass goblet в горячем слоте, то он должен наполниться кровью. Дальше мы жмём glass goblet’ом ПКМ по черепу. Происходит удар молнии и приходит Лилит. Она будет всюду следовать за вами. Дальше строим портал в Нижний мир и заманиваем в него Лилит, затем заходим сами. Далее мы сбрасываем Лилит в лавовое озеро и ждём. Через минуту-две на том же месте появляется её мать. Учтите, что поджигание на неё не действует. Рекомендуется убивать её хорошо зачарованным алмазным мечом, так как у неё очень быстрая регенерация. Когда вы убьете её, нажмите по ней ПКМ glass goblet’ом. Возвращайтесь в обычный мир и выпейте эту кровь. 1 уровень: поздравляем, вы вампир! Иконка клыков слева: питьё крови. Учтите что у вампиров есть плюсы и минусы. Плюсы: отсутствие голода. Бессмертие (не под солнцем и когда есть кровь). Недостатки: мгновенная смерть под солнцем. Способности следующих уровней требуют много крови. Кстати: напоминаем, что если вы не хотите долго и нудно прокачивать своего вампира, то в режиме Творчества есть специальный предмет — Create Bat/Wolf Token. Просто зажав его, вы можете изменять и добавлять уровень оборотня от 0 до 10 уровня. А зажав ⇧ Правый Shift и сделав то же самое, можно менять уровень вампира с 0 до 10. Кстати, вампира и оборотня можно скрещивать на себе. Вы получите все плюсы, и, к сожалению, все недостатки. 2 уровень: выпейте 2 из 4 каплей крови жителя.

Upgrades

The Altar can be powered by placing various blocks and items on the top face of the structure, and around the structure. How much power the altar currently has, the maximum power it can have, and its recharge rate can be seen in the chat log as .

Non-standard upgrades

Non-standard upgrades can only be placed on top of the Altar structure. Only one of each non-standard upgrade may be used per Altar. Upgrades listed with more than one item such as Recharge Rate Boost and Power Boost Multiplier will stack when used on a single altar; this can be shown by placing both a Wither Skeleton Skull and an empty Chalice on the altar. The boost in power will be more using both items than if using one or the other. Heads do not stack; only the better one will provide its bonuses. Chalices will not stack with each other.

Standard upgrades

Standard upgrades can be placed anywhere within the Altar’s range of 16 blocks from the center blocks of the altar and be counted towards their individual block maximums. This range extends along the x, y and z axis. By placing a variety of standard items around an altar the player can significantly increase the altar power available for use.

Tip: placing an altar in an organized farm field will save both space and time running for materials as they should be within just a few blocks of the altar.

A Mystic Branch can be placed on top of the Altar, but this has no functional purpose; it is purely decorational.

Some additions from mods like Biomes O’ Plenty may cause strange interactions.

Девятое — убейте игрока или жителя. Десятое — вы сдали квест.

Мод Witchery можно назвать глобальным дополнением на Майнкрафт, привносящим в игру ведьм, магов, колдунов, некромантов и т.п. магическую мишуру и нечисть. Став одним из повелителей магии вы сможете использовать заклинания, владеть вуду магией, создавать предметы с волшебными свойствами и даже летать на метле, как это обычно делают ведьмы, ну и Гарри Поттер. А так же можно будет взять на себя роль охотника за ведьмами и заняться поиском и уничтожением всей этой нечисти. Встать на сторону добра, примерить на себе шкуру Ван Хельсинга 21 века.

Для постижения всех магических наук в Майнкрафте, с установленным модом Witchery у вас появятся книги: Круг Магии, Травы и растения, Отвары и зелья, Призывание. В них вы найдете тонны полезной информации, которая поможет вам стать настоящим владыкой сверх естественных сил.

Одна из интересных фишек этого мода в том, что вы сможете создать себе разных «Крошек» (Poppets), который будет драться за вас и защищать от нападений врагов, падения с большой высоты, утопления, от огня и вообще от смерти. Такие полезные милашки-миньоны. В основе этих Крошек лежат узы крови. Для того, чтобы сделать их «своими» вам нужная будет частичка вашей крови (ее можно получить из кровати). Потом вы применяете ее на Поппете и привяжется к вам. Так же можно их привязывать не только к себе, но и к другим игрокам или мобам, нужна лишь кровь. Но, к сожалению или к счастью, Poppets не вечные и количество, которое вы можете себе сделать ограничено.

С обычной магией тоже будет совсем не скучно, можно будет делать тонны веселых вещей. Одна из это Rite of Sanctity (Обряд Неприкосновенности). Создайте круг с помощью алтаря и нескольких реликвий. Бросьте внутрь красную пыль и перо. Активируйте круг и все, ни один моб не сможет в него войти, до тех пор пока вы не деактивируете его.

Варка зелий и разных отваров тоже прикольная штука. Как и положено, у каждой ведьмы есть свой большой котел и у вас в Майнкрафт он тоже будет. Загляните в вашу настольную книгу зелий и сварите парочку бутыльков, которые будут ослеплять врага, призывать миньонов, выращивать огромные деревья и еще кучу всякой разной прикольной фигни.

Мод Witchery просто бесконечный и глобальный. Куча вариантов, которые нужно исследовать, испробовать, изучить. Если вы любите магию и все, что с ней связано то этот мод на Майнкрафт то что вам действительно нужно.

1. Скачать и установить Forge для Minecraft.

3. Открыть папку %appdata%\.minecraft\mods.

Getting started

To start, you will need to create a Witches Oven. The Witches Oven is used to create the various Fumes from Witchery, which are very necessary in the future. The main fume that is needed is the Exhale of the Horned One, because it is used in creating Mutandis.

Shaped Crafting

After you have this machine, plop it down and feed it some Oak Saplings and fuel. Don’t forget to add your Clay Jars to capture the fumes. This is for the Exhale of the Horned One, which, as stated, is used in creating Mutandis. So, create your fume, and while it is cooking you may want to begin gathering Eggs and Mandrake Roots if you have not already done so.

Witches Oven

Once you have a fair amount of the fume, Eggs, and Mandrake Roots, you will notice that you also have a lot of Wood Ash. You will want to keep this, as it is very useful later on in the mod.

Now you will want to create a Witch’s Cauldron. This machine is used for making many components, tools, and brews from Witchery. You will first have to create Anointing Paste, which is made by shapelessly crafting Snowbell, Belladonna, Mandrake, and Water Artichoke seeds. Use this paste on a Vanilla Cauldron and a Witch’s Cauldron will be dropped. This machine requires a heat source of fire underneath it, so netherrack may be useful to obtain.

Create a bunch of Mutandis. Mutandis is used in mutating plants into other plants, which would not normally be available.

Required Altar Power: 0
Witch’s Cauldron

You will now want to use Mutandis on a non-staged plant to morph it into another plant. The main plant you would like right now is the Rowan Sapling, but it might be a good idea to get the Hawthorn and Alder Saplings while you have this large stock of Mutandis. Other Witchery plants such as Glint Weeds and Spanish Moss may be a good idea to grab too, but they are not necessary for this guide.

Now that you have Rowan Saplings, it’s time to grow them. They are about as large as Oak Trees, and can be grown on any grass block. They can also be grown quicker with Bone Meal, assuming you still have some from the Mutandis creation. You will need at least 4 Rowan Wood blocks, but it might be smart to get as much as possible. I recommend keeping at least one of each sapling type at all times, because making Mutandis can become a boring and tedious task.

There are now two new fumes that you will need to get the main machine from the mod: the Exhale of the Horned One, and the Breath of the Goddess. You will need at least two of each.

Once you have these, grab a couple Glass Bottles and eight Stone Bricks. Fill the Glass Bottles with water and be prepared to create a multiblock structure. You will need to craft the Altar out of the various blocks and items you have created thus far.

Shaped Crafting

You will need 6 Altar blocks to make the Altar. Place all 6 blocks in a 2×3 pattern where you would like the center point of your magical power to be. This can also be where you will perform your rituals, but you can also simply make two Altars.

From here you can choose to take various different paths. These paths include brewery, circle magic, voodoo, conjurations, dream weavers, infusions, vampirism, and lycanthropy.
